Revelry Games ("we", "us", "our", "the Service") is a multiplayer party game app created by Revelry (revelryapp.me). The Service is free to play and offers optional one-time in-app purchases. By accessing or using Revelry Games — whether through the website, progressive web app, or native mobile application — you agree to this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Data We Collect

What we collect depends on how you use the Service. You can play as a guest without creating an account.

Always collected

• Nickname and avatar — chosen by you when joining a game session.
• Game content you enter — topics, prompts, questions, drawings, and answers you submit. Topics and prompts are sent to a third-party AI service to generate game content.
• A device identifier — a random identifier generated by the app and stored on your device. It keeps your Spark balance attached to your device. It is not your hardware serial number or an advertising identifier.
• Usage and analytics data — pages visited, game events, device type, browser information, interaction patterns, and performance metrics, associated with anonymous or pseudonymous identifiers.
• Technical data — IP addresses, request headers, and connection metadata automatically transmitted when you access the Service.

Collected only if you sign in (optional — Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple)

• Email address, as provided by that sign-in provider. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email", we only ever receive Apple's relay address.
• A provider account identifier — the identifier the provider uses for your account, so we can recognize you when you sign in again.

We do not collect your name, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or advertising identifiers. Signing in lets your Sparks and purchases follow you across devices.

Collected only if you make a purchase

• Purchase records — which Spark pack was bought, the amount credited, a transaction reference from the payment provider, and a timestamp. We keep this ledger to deliver what you paid for, prevent duplicate credits, and handle refunds.

We never receive or store your card number, bank details, or billing address. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe (web) or by Apple and Google (in-app purchases on mobile).

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the data described above to:

• Operate and deliver the Service, including running game sessions
• Generate game content from the topics and prompts you provide
• Maintain your Spark balance and deliver purchases you have made
• Recognize you across devices when you choose to sign in
• Analyze usage to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Service
• Detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, or security issues
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. We may publish or share aggregated or anonymized statistics that do not identify you.

3. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on the providers below. Each processes data under its own privacy policy.

Google Gemini	Topics and prompts you enter, to generate game content.
Supabase	Database hosting for accounts, Spark balances, purchase records, and saved game content.
Stripe	Payment processing for web purchases. Stripe collects your payment details directly; see stripe.com/privacy.
RevenueCat	Validates in-app purchases made through Apple and Google. Receives purchase transaction data, not payment details. See revenuecat.com/privacy.
Apple / Google	Process in-app purchases, and — if you choose to sign in — provide your email and an account identifier.
PostHog	Product analytics. An identifier may be stored in your browser. See posthog.com/privacy.
Google Cloud / IONOS	Server and content hosting; process traffic in order to serve the Service.

We may add, change, or remove providers. Material changes will be reflected in this policy.

4. Data Retention

• Live game session data (rooms, players, live scores) is held in server memory and deleted when the session ends or after a period of inactivity.
• Account, Spark balance, and purchase records are retained for as long as your account exists, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes.
• Saved game content you create is retained until you delete it or your account is deleted.
• Analytics and technical logs may be retained for research and product improvement.

5. Your Choices and Rights

• Play without an account. Signing in is optional; guest play requires no email.
• Access or delete your data. Email support@revelryapp.me to request a copy of the personal data associated with your account, or to request deletion. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
• Purchases. Deleting your account does not automatically refund purchases; refunds are handled by the store or payment provider that processed the transaction.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data — including access, correction, deletion, portability, and objecting to certain processing. Contact us at the address above to exercise them.

6. Purchases and Sparks

The Service is free to play. Some features — hosting a game and generating AI content — consume "Sparks", a virtual in-app item. You receive free Sparks on a recurring basis and may optionally buy more.

• Spark purchases are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Nothing recurs automatically.
• Sparks have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred between accounts.
• Purchases made in the mobile apps are processed by Apple or Google and are subject to their refund policies. Web purchases are processed by Stripe.
• If a purchase is refunded or charged back, the corresponding Sparks may be removed from your balance.
• Prices are shown before you confirm any purchase, in your store's local currency where applicable.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, abusive, or harmful purpose
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service's operation
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service in a manner that degrades performance for others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Circumvent or interfere with any security or access-control measures
• Submit content that is offensive, harmful, or violates the rights of others

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service for violations of these terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, availability, accuracy of AI-generated game content, or fitness for any particular purpose. The Service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law, or any refund rights you have through Apple, Google, or Stripe.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Revelry and its creators, officers, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including loss of data or loss of profits. Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Revelry, its creators, and contributors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact support@revelryapp.me and we will delete it.

12. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States, and your data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. These countries may have different data protection laws than your own.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. When we make material changes we will update the effective date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from the use of the Service shall be resolved in the appropriate jurisdiction.
